The vehicle matters.
So does what happened.
A car filled with petrol instead of diesel is different from an AdBlue mistake in an HGV or water in a machine’s supply. We establish the vehicle, contamination and engine history before agreeing the response.
Fleet managers can coordinate the driver, location and authorisation. HGV and plant enquiries are scoped around tank volume, safe access and site requirements. Arrival, work and cost are discussed for the job in front of us.
Fleet and business supportKeep the engine off. Tell us what happened.
Not started?
Stop filling and leave the ignition off. Tell forecourt staff if you are at a petrol station. Keep the receipt or container so the product and amount can be identified.
Already driven?
Stop in a safe place and switch off. Tell us the distance, warnings and whether the engine stopped itself. Do not keep trying to restart it to see whether the problem clears.
Company vehicle?
Identify the operator and person who can approve work. Mention hire-company requirements, tank quantities, loads, trailers and any restrictions at the site.
A drain may be part of the response, but it does not guarantee that every component is undamaged. The technician explains the assessment and any further work recommended.
Find your town.
Browse all 32 council areas or search for a town, village or district. We arrange attendance for the vehicle’s actual location, not an assumed local branch.

Before you arrange a fuel drain
What does a fuel doctor do?
A mobile fuel doctor deals with wrong fuel and fuel contamination. The history and vehicle are assessed before the scope of removal, cleaning or further checks is agreed.
Do all fuel drain jobs cost the same?
No. The vehicle, quantity, contamination, access and engine history affect the work. Commercial, AdBlue and water-contamination enquiries need their own scope and quote.
Can you help with AdBlue in petrol?
Explain the petrol vehicle, amount added, location and whether it has run. This is assessed separately from AdBlue in diesel or fuel in the AdBlue tank.
Can every vehicle be fixed at the roadside?
No. Safety, access, vehicle condition and the contamination determine what is suitable. Workshop investigation or another recovery arrangement may be needed.
